My name is Alexandra Sheren. I am a transpersonal psychologist, body-oriented therapist, integral practitioner, researcher of altered states of consciousness, and a certified trauma-informed specialist.

My first academic background is in linguistics. I graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Saint Petersburg State University with a degree in Theoretical Linguistics, defending my thesis in the field of neurolinguistics. For seventeen years, I worked in clinical research, leading a business development department, before deciding to dedicate myself to the exploration of the deeper dimensions of the human psyche and embodiment. A turning point on this path was my journey to Peru in 2016, where I was first introduced to transpersonal psychology and the shamanic traditions of Latin America. My studies continued in Northern California, particularly in Santa Cruz and San Francisco, and in 2022 I returned once again to the heart of the Amazon. The two years I spent in the rainforest became a profound immersion into the healing practices and cultural traditions of the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon. Today, I specialize in transpersonal counseling, coaching, and somatic psychotherapy.

My work is informed by integral approach, integrating psychological, somatic, relational, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of human development. My work focuses on supporting people through various types of crises, including spiritual, existential, developmental, relational, grief, and loss-related challenges. I have a particular interest in supporting the integration of transpersonal experiences, peak states, and non-ordinary states of consciousness, including those encountered through spiritual practice and entheogenic work. My work also explores questions of identity, purpose, and psychological-spiritual development that emerge during times of profound personal transformation. Additionally, I provide consultation related to work with shamanic plant medicines, including preparation, support, and integration of the experience.
